Add on Character(s) to Column

Add on character(s) to each cell in currently selected column, text characters can be placed before or after the cell, although the functions and formulas to achieve this effect, but it is tedious and time consuming, this software can let you easily accomplish it.
What we want is to add on text 'City' to Column 'ID' : So that the result would look similar to this:


Tool location: Add-Ins →Excel Tool Box → Add on Character(s) to Column: Shortcuts: (Alt + X + X + A )

Before you start Add on Character(s) to Column Wizard, select a cell in your table column and the whole column will be selected automatically.

Open the Add on Character(s) to Column pane by clicking on: Add-Ins →Excel Tool Box → Add on Character(s) to Column or pressing the Shortcuts: (Alt + X + X + A ).

Enter the ' City' (Add a blank space before 'City' ) characters:

Click the OK button:

If you have more than one character to be added, You can Click the Add More >. Enter the ' City' , 'State' :

Text characters can be placed before or after the cell: Select the Before radio button.

Note: to add a space after the words.

Results:

If you have a large number of characters that you want to add, you can put them in a range.

Select the Character(s) by Range radio button, then click the Range icon.
