Quickly Filter or Count of Unique Values In The Range In Excel
If you have multiple rows of data in your worksheet, and some of them are duplicate items, how to filter unique rows from the table or how could you count (extract) unique values from the range? or although the functions and formulas to achieve this effect, but it is tedious and time consuming, this software can let you easily accomplish it.
What we want is to count of unique values in column 'ID' : So that the result would look similar to this:
Tool location: Add-Ins →Excel Tool Box → Filter Unique Rows From a Single Table: Shortcuts: (Alt + X + X + U )
The sample table: uniques.xlsx
Before you start the Wizard, select a cell in your table and the whole column will be selected automatically.
Open the pane by clicking on: Add-Ins →Excel Tool Box → Filter Unique Rows From a Single Table or pressing the Shortcuts: (Alt + X + X + U ).
Click on the down arrow and select column 'ID' from the drop-down list. if you select 'Use All Columns', will match the entire table.
Click on the down arrow and select column 'Copy to a new worksheet' from the drop-down list.
Click the OK button:
If you have more than one column to be added, You can Click the 'Add Column >'.
