Split Sheet Into Sub Sheets Based On One Selected Column

Using Split Wizard, you can split a sheet into multiple sub sheets by the field in columns. You may have to split a very large worksheet into Sub sheets by the field in columns, It worked smoothly and quickly, even with large worksheets, thereby saves your time. It is very simple to use.
What we want is to split the sheet to two tables by column 'ID' . so that the result would look similar to this:


Tool location: Add-Ins →Excel Tool Box → Splite Sheet: Shortcuts: (Alt + X + X + S )

The sample table: split sheets.xlsx

Open the Split Sheet pane by clicking on: Add-Ins →Excel Tool Box → Splite Sheet or pressing the Shortcuts: (Alt + X + X + S ).

Select 1(A) (Column 'ID' ).

Remark: 1(A) = Column 'ID' ; 2(B) = Column 'Stock' .

Select a value in the left list, double click or Click the 'Add >>' button and add to right list.

Click the Split button:

Prompt:

Enter the values you want to filter, and then Click 'Add All >>' Button: (Case sensitive, Do not enter the filter characters, considered to add all unique values )

How to Split or save each Sub sheet as separate excel file :

Select the Split the sheet into new workbooks radio button, and then Click the 'Browse' button to select output directory. (The default is the current workbook directory)

Split Table Into Sub Sheets Based On Multiple Selected Columns

Using Split Wizard, you can split or divide table to multiple sub sheets based on more than 2 columns.


Tool location: Add-Ins →Excel Tool Box → Split Sheet Based On Columns: Shortcuts: (Alt + X + X + H )

Click on the down arrow and select column 'ID' from the drop-down list.

Click Add Column> button to Select the column 'Stock'

Click the OK button:


Split Table Into Sub Sheets Based On Multiple number of rows

Using Split Wizard, you can split or divide table to multiple sub sheets based on fixed number of rows.

See screenshot: Every 4 rows of this range has been spited into two sub sheets.

Tool location: Add-Ins →Excel Tool Box → Split Sheet Based On Rows: Shortcuts: (Alt + X + X + R )

Please Enter the number of fixed rows  in the Text Box.

Click the OK button:
